Subconscious Success Dialogues

“Sometimes I lie awake at night, and ask, ‘Where have I gone wrong?’ Then a voice says to me, ‘This is going to take more than one night.’” This was a quote from the brilliant mind of Charles Schulz, an American Cartoonist.
In his typically humorous way he calls attention to an interesting phenomenon: Lying in bed, with the lights off, asking ourselves the worst kinds of questions. It’s been said before but it bears repeating. Your mind will always try to find an answer to any question you ask, SO BE CAREFUL WHICH QUESTIONS YOU ASK IT.
'Where have I gone wrong?' is not a good question. Your mind might answer, 'Because you’re an idiot,' 'Because you’re a loser,' 'Because
you make the same mistakes over and over again,' 'Fate.' All of these are terrible answers. They don’t help you solve the problem.
To succeed you must ask yourself better questions. Try something like, 'How do I get out of my current situation?' or 'What can I learn from my situation to get me to my goal?' These are more constructive questions. The answers to these questions will lead to solutions or lessons. At the very least, they will be more constructive, than destructive.
Be careful of the subconscious messages you send. Your mind believes what you tell it. Speak nicely to your self, even in times of difficulty and confusion. Consider it an exercise in team building. If you want your mind to work for you, affirm the good and overwrite the bad.
