Do you have it? Is it something you want? So many of us don't have or can't find our "fitness" drive. We get caught up in the cycle of work and procrastination and fool ourselves into believing that we don't have time for a healthy lifestyle.
Ask anyone with riches in poor health and they'll tell you they'd trade it all to have their health back. So why do we let our health suffer?
The truth is that a "fitness drive" isn't something you're born with. It's something you cultivate over time. It's born of sweat and routine; of monotony and aching muscles. We are all guilty of putting off focusing on our own well being and health because of our busy lifestyles. To live well you have to overcome this. You have to find the drive deep inside and push through the pain.
This week I challenge you to find you drive, the engine inside you that is waiting to be turned on. Avoid the phrase, "I don't have time..." and you will soon realize that you do have the time necessary to accomplish just about anything you choose to in life. Start today if you're not already exercising, get away from your normal and comfortable routine, and make your health and well-being a priority. Succeed outside of the office and you'll be better equipped to succeed inside the office and enjoy a long, healthy life.
