I read a quote the other day by an unknown author it said:

"If I were an Olympic diver I would not do a five-flip twisty thing, I would do the best swan dive in the world and do it over and over again."

After thinking about this I realized this applies directly to fitness. I have seen, and witnessed to many people doing to much work on one specific area of their body. I want you to understand it is the simplicity of an exercise that gives results overall. It is not the multiple sets of curls with different grips; nor is it targeting our abdominals in 13 different ways when a simple pullup, assisted or not, would be arguably more beneficial in both areas.

We all have seen it at the local gym -- the person on the boso ball doing crunches, side crunches, leg lifts, bridges and more -- trying to achieve great results. What if they simply said: "I am going to keep it simple and do 3 simple exercises today that target every area of my body."

I would bet you that individual would see better gains over all than ever before. Success lies in simplicity not complexity.
