Max Fernandez
Max Fernandez is a Level 1 CrossFit instructor with an extensive background in fitness. Max also has an Olympic lifting certification and a personal trainer certification through the American Council on Exercise. He has attended many power lifting competitions, placing 3rd in one division event. He has in depth knowledge of sport specific movements and skills from coaching young athletes as well as playing multiple sports himself. With this extensive background in fitness, Max has been sharing the benefits of CrossFit with the community as he directs and instructs classes at CrossFit South County.
Joining the military at a young age quickly taught meaning of the word discipline. Discipline in the military can save your life, discipline in the real world can make you successful and having discipline in your active lifestyle will keep you healthy and fit. In some shape, form or way we all have discipline but some more than others.

Discipline is what causes us to wake up when the alarm is sounding, discipline keeps us consistent in our life style and we must realize that without some discipline we would all fall apart into a lost and confused world. I coach people on a daily basis to have the discipline to adhere to their workout programs.
Just like anything we do in our lives, it takes consistency to progress whether it be a diet, our job or working out. Face it if you went to work just on days you felt like it you would more than likely an annual income quarterly of what you have now. I want to encourage you to do the same with your health, you need to have the discipline to set specific days in your schedule to do something active. I don't mean going to the gym and just working out. A healthy life style comes from an active lifestyle. Take just a small hour of your day to be active.
Not only will you succeed at having the healthy life style you want, but you will have more energy a better outlook on life and a long life with your friends and loved ones. This is certainly some great reasons to find your inner discipline and succeed in your personal active lifestyle.
